Weeping Willowers find a new place to hang
By Steve Jansen

"Ever since Willow House closed in August, many downtowners have been at a loss for a late-night place to hang. And because downtowners can be a tough crowd (us included), they're sometimes resistant to trying new spots.

Thankfully, there was a newish, supercool place to defect to: Conspire. (To be fair, the Roosevelt Row spot at 901 North Fifth Street was open for approximately nine months before the Willow's final demise.) It also helps that the early-morning-to-late-night hang puts on awesome events like Sticker Club Girl Art Night every Wednesday. Lisa Jacobs hosts the long-running anti-procrastination night, where folks can bring any and every artsy/crafty project they've been wanting to work on while hanging out with good people and downing great coffee."
