Indie ArtHouse is a cooperative space featuring hand made, up-cycled, and vintage art, crafts, fashion, jewelry, supplies, books, and home decor. In addition to the retail merchandise IAH will offer regular workshops, classes, art openings, and events.
The grand opening celebration for Indie ArtHouse will be held in conjunction with Summer Solstice on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 6-10pm. Indie ArtHouse is located at 1504 NW Grand Ave., sandwiched between Bikini Lounge and The Trunk Space. The festivities include an indie fashion show, music by DJ Musa, live art by Damian Jim, food by Hey Joe - Phillipine Street Food, refreshments, giveaways, and an after party to be held next door at the Bikini Lounge from 10-2am.
Indie ArtHouse will showcase a variety of works from member artists along with monthly featured artists from the Phoenix community. Classes will be offered regularly in the Indie ArtHouse studio lounge; including papermaking, jewelry design, sewing, bookbinding, etc. Regular events include First Friday Art Walk openings, Third Friday art receptions, Tuesday night Sticker Club Art Night, and more to come.
