The new cooperative space featuring hand made fashion, art, and coffee.

The grand opening celebration for Conspire will be held on Saturday December 8, 2007 from 2-10pm. Conspire is located at 901 N 5TH ST on the NE corner of 5th St and Garfield. The festivities include fashion showings, live performances, open turntables, refreshments, giveaways, and an after party to be held across the street at The Lost Leaf from 10-2am.

Conspire is a cooperative space featuring handmade fashion, jewelry, handbags, knit goods, ceramics, art, photography, printmaking, illustration, stained and fused glass, home goods, books, zines, and more. The Coffee Conspiracy will also be opening within Conspire featuring hand crafted specialty coffee drinks. Mob Action University Library is available for public use. Conspire is the new home of Sticker Club Art Night. Classes are offered regularly in the Conspire studio lounge including knitting, felting, papermaking, jewelry design, bookbinding, etc. Regular events include First Friday Art Walk openings, Third Friday art receptions, and the Third Saturday Outdoor Arts Market. Over 15 local residents make up the membership of this collective. Conspire members include Lisa Jacobs, Sticker Club Girl, Joey G, Mob Action, Spraygraphic Apparel, Dubnosis, The Coffee Conspiracy by John Sagasta, Lacie Bug Designs, Tara Kratzner-Bills, Kitsch Niche, Nicole Smith, Zurina Ketola Designs, Sheila Bocchine Photography, Tom Budzak, Dan Dykas, Red Spade Studio, Vicki Leigh Studios, Becca Dang, Button Man, and more.

Conspire is a group of local artists, designers, and entrepreneurs working together to bring hand made, hand crafted, quality goods to the public at an affordable price, as well as to create positive growth within the community.
